A Meeting Place
In Trowse we are lucky in having a lovely village hall, known as The Manor Rooms. The actual building is 400 years old, and has been refurbished to a very high standard in January 2006. There are all the facilities you would expect in a modern building, including ramp access, toilets including disabled and baby change facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen. The hall will seat 60, with a maximum capacity of 100.
The hall is available for hire, by the hour or by the day, for private functions, community activities and commercial lets. It is within walking distance of our church, and so could be hired for celebrations following a church service.
Rates of hire are: Trowse community groups £4.50 per hour;
Charities £4.50 per hour;
Private commercial lets £6.50 per hour;
Corporate commercial lets £50.00 per half day,
£100.00 per day;
Children's birthday parties £20.00 for 4 hours;
Other daytime parties £30.00 for 4 hours;
Evening parties £50.00 for 4 hours;
Weddings £250.00 per day.
